RUGBY UNION: AUTUMN INTERNATIONALS

ANDY FARRELL arrived back from his history-making Australian holiday only to find the kids slacking and the house in an unruly state.

Nothing that you might call the cops about but the place was untidy, there hadn't been much cleaning and polishing done.

But there is little point in being overly stroppy as he starts trying to get it all in the shape he left it last November.

Chicago was an unsatisfactory mess at times — and, worse, the All Blacks were not exactly great in their 26-13 victory.

Ireland winning two out of every three lineouts is not international standard, missing one tackle in every four isn't defensive solidity and two linebreaks in 80 minutes isn't an attack on fire.

Dan Sheehan gets to carry the can for the lineout, albeit it was significantly disrupted by Tadhg Beirne’s third minute red card and losing James Ryan to a head assessment at one point.
