Boy, 16, is 3rd to face Barry rap

A THIRD person has appeared in court charged with the murder of father-of-four Barry Daly over the weekend.

A 16-year-old boy appeared before a sitting of Midleton District Court yesterday charged with the murder of Mr Daly.

The postal worker, 44, was attacked outside his home in Rockview Terrace in Doneraile, Co Cork, on Sunday.

Detective Garda David Forsythe gave evidence of the arrest, charge and caution of the juvenile.

He said the teenager made no reply when he was charged under caution at 10.26pm yesterday at Cobh Garda Station in Co Cork.
