Jude wins battle of Brits against Rashford in La Liga’s biggest game

- BY JASON MELLOR

BELL CLASICO

JUDE BELLINGHAM kept up his amazing El Clasico record as Real Madrid edged out 10-man Barcelona in a fiery Bernabeu clash.

The England star outshone Barca’s Marcus Rashford by scoring the winner after setting up the opener for Kylian Mbappe who also missed a second-half penalty and had a stunning 25-yard volley ruled out for a narrow offside.

It's four goals in five appearances for the 22-year-old midfielder in Spanish football’s showpiece rivalry, as Real gained a degree of revenge for losing all four Clasicos last season to move five points clear of their bitter rivals at the top.

The game ended in chaos with clashes on the touchline between both sets of players after Barcelona midfielder Pedri earned a second yellow deep into stoppage-time for a crude lunge on French defender Aurelien Tchouameni.
