Conan knows his unit could hold key to success against Tigers' traditional style

JACK CONAN accepts all Leicester Tigers packs are held to exacting ‘Welford Road’ standards - and Leinster must be prepared for that this European weekend.

The English club, by tradition, fight their corner up front, and it is a stall simply set out; ‘forwards win matches, backs decide by how much’.

Yet, suggests Conan, while this Tiger pack conforms to their front-row and second-row traditions, there is an added nuance - one that makes them decidedly dangerous across the back-row - to be policed.

“Their front-row is tough, very solid and full of internationals and second-rows Ollie Chessum and George Martin are big lumps.

“The dynamic changes a bit in the back-row.
