A sharpshooter wanted in multiple criminal cases in Haryana, including on the charge of murdering a liquor baron in Kurukshetra, was killed in a police encounter near the Delhi-Haryana border Tuesday morning.

Wanted gangster Romil Vohra killed in encounter near Delhi-Haryana border

The police said the accused, identified as Romil Vohra, who had a reward of Rs 3.10 lakh on him announced by the Haryana government, sustained multiple gunshot injuries in the joint operation by the Delhi Police Special Cell and the Haryana Police's Special Task Force (STF). Two policemen also sustained injuries in the encounter that took place in the Kishangarh area of South Delhi.
