'No more leakage of water or corruption': Delhi CM Rekha Gupta flags off GPS-enabled water tankers

Taking a dig at the AAP over the alleged water tanker mafia, she said, “From now on, there will be no leakage of water and no leakage of corruption.”Water minister Parvesh Sahib Singh, Kapil Mishra, Ravinder Indraj Singh, MP Manoj Tiwari, Praveen Khandelwal and others attended the event at the Nirankari ground in Burari.
“We have done in just ten weeks from forming the government what the AAP-da (disaster) government could not do in the last ten years. Today, we complete 60 days and as promised, GPS-enabled water tankers have been launched to provide better water services to the people of Delhi this summer. I also want to tell you that this is not it, we are soon going to come up with a new town plan to provide water through direct pipeline connectivity to every resident of this city,” said Gupta.She also launched an app and a dashboard through which the Delhi Jal Board (DJB) will monitor the movement of the water tankers and also the waters distributed in each area.
