FGG urges CM to Streamline the procedure for quick disposal of ACB cases

Forum for Good Governance (FGG) on Tuesday urged the Chief Minister Anumula Revanth Reddy to streamline the procedure for quick disposal of ACB cases.

In a letter addressed the Chief Minister, Forum for Good Governance President M. Padmanabha Reddy said rampant corruption in administration is causing lot of sufferings to common man. In Government offices, especially in departments like Municipal Administration, Revenue, Police etc. unless bribes are paid people are not able to get the things done. We see in newspapers regularly the ACB is registering cases against corrupt officials but such cases are a tip of the iceberg compared to the level of corruption that is prevailing in administration, he added.The cases registered by ACB are not prosecuted quickly. Permission to prosecute from Government is delayed and manipulation take place in concerned department of Secretariat, he added. In the letter cited few examples ie.
