We're like a mad box of frogs, says Litten

Davy Litten piled the praise on Hull FC team-mate Will Pryce after Saturday's victory at Catalans Dragons - declaring the duo are 'like a mad box of frogs'.

We're like a mad box of frogs, says Litten

Litten and Pryce were at the heart of the side’s 34-0 victory in Perpignan, with Pryce notching up an eye-catching try double and Litten also crossing over.

Infectious with their energy and enthusiasm, which rubs off on the whole team, the pair are the club’s comedy duo, bringing fun and enjoyment to the table on both training and game days.

And in France, it showed.

Plenty will be said about how poor Catalans are, but it takes nothing away from Hull, who weren't fancied themselves this year but are right in the mix for a play-off finish.

They sit fifth and play Castleford Tigers and Salford Red Devils next after a week off.

"It's his energy," Litten told the Mail when asked about Pryce and his connection. "He's mad - he's a bit like me, really. We're like a mad box of frogs.

"You don’t really know what to expect, and we probably need to put a lid on it sometimes, but the energy is infectious. One of them is enough, but when you've got two of them in your team, you won't go far wrong. We had a tough run of fixtures when Prycey came in, and he probably got a bit of unneeded stick, but now he’s settled back down in Super League and scoring tries like that; you can’t go far wrong.
