Tigers are tempted by Black and Whites' Ashworth

HULL FC are still to tie down several of their out-of-contract players for the 2026 season.

One of those is Jack Ashworth, who could sign for a Super League rival next term.
That club is Castleford Tigers, who are in the midst of their own rebuild under head coach Danny McGuire and new Director of Rugby Chris Chester, with Love Rugby League reporting the Tigers are in for the player.
As per the site, they are 'confident of completing a deal' - a move that would be their second acquisition of a Hull player following the signing of Jordan Lane.
