Teenage girl sexually assaulted in shower at public swimming pool

A PERVERT sexually assaulted a teenage girl after watching her showering in the changing rooms of a public swimming pool.

The “dreadful impact” of what happened to her meant that, to this day, the smell of chlorine made her tense.

She had been caused “severe psychological harm” and suffered “vivid nightmares” from the memories of what happened, a court heard.

Tomasz Figura, 46, of Cave Street, off Beverley Road, Hull, denied offences of assault by penetration, sexual assault and voyeurism but he was convicted by a jury after a trial at Hull Crown Court on April 8.

He admitted failing to attend for sentence at Grimsby Crown Court on May 9, because he was “drunk”. He was later arrested after also failing to attend at Hull Crown Court three days later and he was remanded in custody.
