CONCERNS REMAIN FOR YORKSHIRE WATER
YORKSHIRE Water says domestic water usage across the region has dropped 10 per cent. It comes following a hosepipe ban, which has been in place since July 11.
The company has since thanked customers for their efforts to save water. According to Yorkshire Water, 70-80 million litres per day have been saved in warm weather, while days with cooler temperatures and rainfall over the last three weeks led to savings of approximately 35 million litres.
