PUBLIC'S VIEWS SOUGHT IN SURVEY

- By IVAN MORRIS POXTON

THE Humberside Police and Crime Commissioner, Jonathan Evison, is seeking public views on plans to relocate Beverley Police Station.

It is proposed to move the station from New Walk to a dedicated office in County Hall.

It comes as progress has already been made toward the eventual relocation of Bransholme Police Station. This will move from by North Point Shopping Centre in Goodhart Road to an annex of Bransholme Fire Station in Noddle Hill Way.

On the potential relocation of Beverley Police Station, Mr Evison said: "One of my key aims as Police and Crime Commissioner is to ensure visible neighbourhood policing accessible to all communities. As part of this, I am proposing to relocate Beverley Police Station from its current site on New Walk to County Hall in the centre of Beverley.
