'Misspelled M62 sign will be replaced'

IT may have been amusing or irritating motorists in equal measure while it has been there but a misspelled sign on the M62 will be replaced, it has been confirmed.

The rogue sign spells Beverley without its last “e”, as in Beverly Hills, and has no doubt been the subject of some conversations, and possibly some tutting, by those who know how the name of the market town should be written. The motorway sign is on the M62 at Junction 38, where drivers can take the slip road to the B1230 f
