Minutes cap could see Martin miss five crucial Hull matches

WILL RFL INTRODUCE NEW RULES?
Hull FC winger Lewis Martin would be stood down for at least FIVE games later this season should the RFL's new and controversial minute caps come into motion.
First proposed last summer, the governing body drew up plans that would limit just how many minutes players can play over a rolling 12-month period.
Those plans could have a big impact on the availability of some Super League players later this season, with Martin, for one, set to be stood down under the proposed minute caps.
The RFL have proposed four different minute caps for different player categories.
There are two for forwards and two for backs, and they are split either side of the age bracket of 22 years old.
They are as follows:
Forwards aged 22 or over: 2,000 minutes, equivalent to 25 full games
Backs aged 22 or over: 2,400 minutes, equivalent to 30 full games
Forwards younger than 22: 1,600 minutes, equivalent to 20 full games
