DORO WAS DETERMINED TO TAKE HIS MAGIC CHANCE
ERIBE Doro says he knew in advance that his first Super League chance of 2025 was set to come at Magic Weekend, after conversations with Hull KR head coach Willie Peters about when his opportunity would arrive.
The 24-year-old prop forward was named on the bench for the fixture against Salford at St James' Park, with Rovers dominating for a 54-0 victory - their biggest ever over the Red Devils.
It was a nine-try display, giving Doro his first taste of Super League under Peters. He had made his club debut earlier in the season during a 40-0 Challenge Cup win over Oldham.
