FIT-AGAIN FULL-BACK DISCUSSES FOLLOWING IN HIS FATHER'S FC FOOTSTEPS

It's the most enjoyable rugby I've played so far in my career - Pryce

Will Pryce was thrown in the deep end at Hull FC. The 22-year-old debuted in the Hull derby less than five days after stepping off a plane from Australia.

He then played for the next seven games, accustoming himself to the side’s fullback position and finding some form at his new club.

But on his eighth appearance, the worst happened: Pryce tore his hamstring.

The timing couldn’t have been more unlucky, with Pryce picking up the injury in the final play of a game he dazzled in, scoring two sublime tries in a 34-0 Hull victory at Catalans. He was gutted.

But now, 10 weeks later, the Bradford-born star is back. He returned to the Hull lineup against Salford last Sunday, producing five try assists, and is now determined to make up for lost time.

Speaking for the first time since his comeback, Pryce told the Mail: “It was nice to get back out there with the fans and enjoy playing some rugby again. It was a long-term injury, being out for 10 weeks, but everyone at the club made my job easier to come into training and not be down or not enjoy it.

“I came to every away game and travelled with the boys and stuff like that, but watching from the sideline has been tough. We've strung a couple of wins here and there, but when we've had some losses, you feel a bit hopeless and a bit helpless.
