Councillors raise concerns over Anlaby Road closure after 'countless complaints'

Hull councillors have raised concerns over an ongoing road closure on Anlaby Road.The closure, which is due to necessary gas works, is causing “unbearable” impact on local residents, the councillors have said.

Since January 5, a section of Anlaby Road has been closed, with traffic management measures in place.

Northern Gas Networks (NGN), the gas distributor for the North of England, is carrying out work to replace ageing metal pipework with new, more durable plastic pipes.
