Asiata has scans as Cartwright looks at replacement

HULL FC are still waiting to discover the severity of a hamstring injury to John Asiata, with head coach John Cartwright confirming the player will undergo scans on the muscle today.

The loose-forward limped off on his return to former club Leigh Leopards last Thursday. However, John Cartwright has revealed the injury - at least by the player's own account - doesn’t feel as bad as the one that saw him miss a chunk of last season while at the Leythers last term.
Asiata will miss Saturday's game at Catalans Dragons, with the club hoping for positive news later in the week.
