OGWEN Valley Mountain Rescue Team have had a blitz of callouts in 2025 as Eryri National Park has been packed full of walkers and climbers.
-
This has sadly included responding to some tragedies with two lives lost in just the last couple of weeks.
One callout that fortunately had a happier conclusion happened on Thursday on the infamous Tryfan, a scramblers paradise but one that catches so many out.
A man attempted to come down Y Gully. This is a tricky section to go up and coming down this route is not recommended.
