Hindustan Times
|November 21, 2025
The election commission of India has rolled out special measures in Kerala and Rajasthan as part of the special intensive revision (SIR) of electoral rolls, even as the poll body's data released on Thursday shows wide gaps in digitisation of elector-specific enumeration forms during phase 2 of the SIR, with Uttar Pradesh and Kerala recording the lowest conversion rates despite completing most of the household distribution.
Uttar Pradesh has digitised 6.14% of forms after the distribution of 99.56%, while Kerala has digitised 3.39% after the distribution of 97.06% forms.
