Cultural renaissance, a milestone for India, say RSS chief, UP CM

The consecration ceremony at the Ram Temple on Monday marks a moment of pride for the country, Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat and Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath said on Monday, as both described the day as a milestone for India's cultural and spiritual journey.

The two spoke separately on the occasion of the consecration of the Ram Lalla idol at Ayodhya. Adityanath was chiefly speaking in his capacity as the leader of the Goraknath Mutt, and both his and Bhagwat's organisations led the movement to set up a temple on what was once a disputed land.
"The establishment of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple stands as a profound spiritual ceremony, marking a cultural renaissance in India it is not any temple but is the national temple. The consecration of Shri Ram Lalla is a historic occasion of national pride," said Adityanath.
