After Haryana, Maha will crush Cong dream: Modi
Hindustan Times

The Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) stalled development projects in Maharashtra and hence the Congress's dream of coming to power in the state will be crushed just like in Haryana, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said on Thursday, alleging that the Opposition was an enemy of the poor and would cause droughts if it came to power in the upcoming assembly polls.
-
Modi addressed three rallies on Thursday-in Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar, Panvel and Mumbai-ahead of the November 20 polls in Maharashtra, where the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)-led Mahayuti is looking to retain power.
He said the battle in Maharashtra was between people who praise Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj and those who hail Aurangzeb and blamed former chief minister Uddhav Thackeray for handing over the "remote control" of his party to the Congress.
"The Congress and MVA have been dreaming about coming back to the power, but those dreams will be shattered like in Haryana. I have been touring Maharashtra and Jharkhand and the people are eager to give befitting reply to the opposition like they did in Haryana," he said in Mumbai.
"The voters have decided to burry the falsehood of the MVA and they have realised that the Congress that ruled in the country and Maharashtra for six to seven decades has insulted Dr BR Ambedkar. They did not implement Constitution in J&K for decades," he added.
