Security Tightened Across 72 Districts for R-Day and Mela

UP police on Friday sounded an alert to intensify vigilance and implement robust security arrangements across all 72 districts for Republic Day celebrations and the ongoing Mahakumbh 2025, stated a press note issued by the UP police headquarters.
LUCKNOW:
It further mentioned that the organisers of all significant Republic Day events, including Tiranga Yatra, flag hoisting, and public processions, will be asked to coordinate beforehand to facilitate appropriate security arrangements. Additionally, microlight aircraft, paragliders, hang gliders, drones, and other unmanned aerial vehicles will be under strict surveillance, and their flight beyond the rules laid down by the law will be prohibited.
