POOR VISIBILITY AT BARAMATI AIRPORT BEFORE AIRCRAFT CRASHED: MINISTER

There was poor visibility at the Baramati airport before the aircraft carrying Maharashtra deputy chief minister Ajit Pawar crashed, Union aviation minister K Ram Mohan Naidu said on Wednesday.
As per preliminary information from the Aircraft Accident Investigation Bureau (AAIB), the pilot could not sight the runway on its first landing attempt, the minister said.
