'Destiny guides some turns and postings:' HC chief justice at farewell of judges Monga, Ganju

NEW DELHI: “There are certain things for which we find no explanation except to say that this is what destiny has in store for us,” Delhi chief justice DK Upadhyay said on Monday while bidding farewell to justices Arun Monga and Tara Vitasta Ganju, who have been transferred from the Delhi High Court to the Rajasthan and Karnataka high courts, respectively.

“There are situations in one’s life where you don't find any answers but have to move ahead. With this wish and desire, I wish you (justice Ganju) all the best for your stint at Karnataka,” Upadhyay said at the farewell organised by the Delhi High Court Bar Association (DHCBA).

Emphasising that transfers are an integral part of judicial service, the chief justice also extended his best wishes to jus-

tice Monga. “Transfers are part of the job, and being a sportsman, we are certain that justice Monga would always uphold the spirit of the game,” he remarked.
