On Republic Day today, we look at the rich traditions of lesser-known weaves that are witnessing a modern revival
India's handwoven textiles have an allure beyond aesthetics - every thread is proof of tradition and craftsmanship, akin to the spirit of unity we celebrate on Republic Day, today. This year's theme highlighting heritage and progress, and as Re-Ceremonial founder Ateev Anand puts it: "Weaves are an elegant evidence of human interaction with time and space. They carry stories and that's important to preserve."
