State Issues Orange Alert for 13 Districts

In what could be some respite from the scorching heat, the Jharkhand weather department has issued an orange alert for thunder and hailstorms coupled with gusty winds for 13 of the 24 districts for two days from Sunday.
RANCHI:
The change in weather is expected to bring respite from the extremely hot and humid conditions, as the mercury may fall by up to five degrees Celsius due to the possibility of light to moderate rainfall, officials said on Saturday.
