Sacred Bodhi Tree maintains excellent health: FRI scientists

A team of scientists from the Forest Research Institute (FRI), Dehradun — Dr. Santan Bharthawal and Dr. Sailesh Pandey — announced on Tuesday that the sacred Bodhi Tree at Bodh Gaya is in good health following a routine check-up.
GAYA JI:
The 2,300-year-old Bodhi Tree, under which Lord Buddha is believed to have attained enlightenment, is among the most revered sites for Buddhist pilgrims from across the world.
