Elderly man dies, woman critical in road accident in Darbhanga

Two persons, including a woman, were killed in a road accident after an SUV ran them over at Bhathiarisara under the jurisdiction of Kotwali police station in Darbhanga district on Saturday morning, police said.
DARBHANGA:
"The deceased were identified as Jeetan Sahni, 60, while the woman, identified as Radha Devi, is undergoing treatment at a private hospital. Both reside in the same locality," said Rahul Kumar, station house officer (SHO) of Kotwali.
The situation could have worsened, but the vehicle came to a halt after crashing into an electricity pole. The entire incident was captured on a nearby CCTV camera.
