A minor dispute between children from two communities escalated into a violent clash near the Baniahir Ground in Jharia on Thursday, leaving at least eight people injured, including one who sustained a head injury, police said.

According to the police, the altercation began over a path way dispute and quickly turned violent after a verbal spat between the children. As the situation worsened, members of both communities joined in, leading to physical violence and chaos.
