DHANBAD: In a sweeping display of political mobilization, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Tuesday staged statewide protests across block offices in Jharkhand, accusing the Hemant Soren-led government of institutionalized corruption, governance failures, and betrayal of public trust.

The protests, held under the directive of the BJP state leadership, saw participation from hundreds of party workers, leaders, and supporters in districts including Saraikela, Bokaro, and Pakur.

At Saraikela, the protest was led by former CM and local legislator Champai Soren, who spearheaded a massive demonstration outside the block office. Addressing the gathering, Soren launched a scathing attack on the ruling alliance, accusing it of subverting the original vision behind the creation of a separate Jharkhand state.
