AJSU Party will organise the 'Naukri Do Hemant Sarkar' campaign from August 9 to 14 to ensure 75 per cent reservation for locals in the private sector is implemented, the party's youth wing leader Sanjay Mehta said on Monday.
RANCHI: AJSU Party will organise the 'Naukri Do Hemant Sarkar' campaign from August 9 to 14 to ensure 75 per cent reservation for locals in the private sector is implemented, the party's youth wing leader Sanjay Mehta said on Monday.
During a press conference, where senior party leader and chief spokesperson Deosharan Bhagat and central general secretary Rajendra Mehta were also present, Mehta said, "The party will run the 'Naukri Do Hemant Sarkar' campaign from August 9 to August 14. Under this programme, the party will assess the implementation of job promises made by the government. The government had brought a bill for 75 per cent reservation for locals in the private sector, and the party will check whether it has been complied with. For this, the party will submit memorandums to private sector offices. The party will also ask the government to provide data in this regard. In addition, the party will question the recruitment agencies of the Jharkhand government," Mehta said.
Mehta said the purpose of the campaign is to expose the hollow promises made by the state government regarding the creation of 500,000 jobs for youth.
"The government is cheating the youth in the name of jobs. We will not let the dreams of the youth die and will boldly raise their concerns in public. Reservation is being undermined through outsourcing companies. Exploitation has increased due to the contract system. The government wants to delay the regularisation of contract workers. The youth of a state with a population of over two crore are being deceived in the name of employment," he said.
Bhagat, on the occasion, talked about other programmes that will be held from June 30 to August 9.
