Some Members in OIC Are Seen as Key Voices in Global South

NEW DELHI: Members of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) account for a third of the 33 countries being visited by seven all-party delegations from Wednesday, with New Delhi making a conscious decision to include these nations to highlight Pakistan's links to cross-border terrorism, people familiar with the matter said.

While some of the 11 OIC members included in the itineraries of the all-party delegations are major players in the 57-member grouping, such as Saudi Arabia, Indonesia, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar and Egypt, others such as Guyana and Sierra Leone are seen as key voices in Global South.
