Sahibi river's flow has reduced since 1977: Govt to NGT

THE SAHIBI RIVER IS A SEASONAL RIVER THAT DEPENDS ON MONSOON RAIN FOR ITS FLOW
JODHPUR: The Rajasthan government has informed the National Green Tribunal (NGT) that the Sahibi river, once active during monsoons, started receiving very little water since 1977.
This was stated in a report submitted by the water resources department on behalf of the chief secretary in compliance with the NGT's order.
