Progress of nation, state depends on youth's development: Sharma

JAIPUR:

Addressing the "Run for Viksit Rajasthan" event at Amar Jawan Jyoti in Jaipur, Sharma said, "When youth progress, the nation and the state will progress. The energy, enthusiasm, and talent of the youth will play a pivotal role in taking the state to new heights."

He said the marathon, organised to mark the completion of one year of the state government, symbolises unity, determination, and a step toward the state's development. "Strong youth will lead to a strong Rajasthan." he said.

The CM announced that every year on December 12 "Run for Viksit Rajasthan" will be held to encourage the youth to actively participate in the progress of the state. In the run, Sharma also participated along with over 10,000 participants, including NCC, NSS, RAC, Home Guard personnel, and general public.

Sharma said: "Prime Minister Narendra Modi believes the future of India lies in achieving big dreams and ambitious goals. Building a developed India is the goal of every citizen today. The state government is working with this very vision, aligning with the Prime Minister's aspirations."

He said that PM Modi has proven this by his actions, asserting that this century is indeed India's and belongs to its youth.

Sharma praised the state's athletes for winning numerous national and international medals in various sports.
