JAIPUR: The Rajasthan BJP has failed to conduct elections for district president posts in 17 districts due to internal differences, people familiar with the matter said. This comes amid the organisation elections being held in the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) across the states, ahead of the elections for state presidents that are likely to take place next week.
According to a party leader, elections of heads of districts in areas of some senior party leaders have come to a standstill due to lack of consensus on a candidate.
