'No one owes anyone any work'

Adah Sharma's career saw a spike after the 2023 hit The Kerala Story, and now she is set to venture into South cinema again with her next trilingual film in Kannada, Tamil and Hindi.

She plays a deity in the project. "It is empowering, because devi is shakti (power). I believe that there is devi in every woman," says the actor, adding, "I feel fortunate that I'm getting the opportunity to work with such talented filmmakers from across India."
