Govt Is Taking Steps To Address Traffic Woes In Jaipur: Minister

Rajasthan transport and road safety minister Prem Chand Bairwa on Friday informed the state legislative assembly that the government is taking effective and concrete steps to address the traffic congestion caused by illegal vehicles in Jaipur.
JAIPUR:
Speaking in the assembly, Bairwa said that in order to regulate the operation of e-rickshaws, the city has been divided into six zones with clusters formed according to police station areas. A notification issued on October 15, 2024, has also set a specific number of e-rickshaws allowed in each zone.
