30-Year-Old French Woman Raped in Udaipur, Accused Absconding, Say Cops

Based on the Woman's Complaint, Police Have Registered an FIR Against the Accused
UDAIPUR, JAIPUR: A 30-year-old French woman was raped allegedly by a Chittorgarh-based event management company employee on Monday night, police officers aware of the matter said on Tuesday, adding that the accused is currently absconding.
The woman came to India for a commercial trip with two other friends, they added.
Based on the woman's complaint, police have registered an FIR against the accused under section 64 (1) (rape) of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita at Udaipur's Badgaon police station, police said.
The victim identified the man as Pushparaj Ojha aka Siddharth (28), they added.
