According to Police, the Victim Was Allegedly Found Dead at His Hostel Room on the College Campus on March 5
JAIPUR: The principal, hostel warden, and two students of the Kota Government Medical College were booked on Saturday in connection with the suicide case of a 28-year-old MBBS student on March 5, officers aware of the matter said.
"The first information report (FIR) was based on a direction by the SC/ST Commission last week. We have lodged a case against the principal of the college, hostel warden, and two students for falsely implicating the victim in a case of cheating during an exam last year and then barring him from future exams. This caused significant mental stress to him that led the student to take the extreme step. The victim's family also said that they suspected the accused carried out a planned murder. We are probing the matter," said station house officer of Mahaveer Nagar police station, Ramesh Kabia.
