Adhav Protests After Railways Asks 20 Porters To Stop Working

Veteran leader Baba Adhav and Hamal Panchayat representative Nitin Pawar expressed anger at the Indian Railway for suddenly asking 20 porters, who have been working with the Pune railway station for the last many years and possess authorised state government identity cards, to stop working.

Pawar said, "When I came to know about this incident, I questioned the Railway Security Force (RSF) as to why the porters were arrested. These porters are registered with the Maharashtra Labour Welfare Board. When they have been working with railway for many decades, why have trespassing cases been filed against them?"
