Cops Fire in Air to Disperse Mob Protesting Minor's Death in Accident

Saran police had to fire in air to disperse a violent mob protesting the death of a minor in a road accident at Manoharur-Jakri village under Amnaur police station on Wednesday, a senior official said.

PATNA: A mob of around 100 people had gathered and started pelting stones at a police team when they tried to pacify them after the death of an eight-year-old Aditya Kumar. The mob blocked the national highway, disrupted vehicular traffic for more than two hours and burnt tyres on the middle of the road.
