Bihar: 4 Cyber Criminals Arrested for Issuing Fake Ration Cards

Bihar's Paharpur police arrested four cyber criminals, claiming to have busted a gang who would issue fake ration cards after allegedly hacking the state's Ration Card Management System (RCMS) portal in East Champaran, officials said on Sunday late evening.

Speaking to Hindustan Times, Arun Kumar, sub divisional magistrate (SDM) of Areraj said, "Prima facie, it appears that this malpractice was ongoing for the past few months and there are no less than 100 fake card holders who have been identified. They too look to have procured ration from PDS fraudulently."
The official further said his team had a hunch of some malpractices.
