In a wide-ranging discussion with select reporters at the White House on Friday, US National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan outlined critical concerns about potential changes to American foreign policy.

He specifically cautioned against "pulling the rug from under Ukraine," warning that such action would reverberate beyond Europe into the Indo-Pacific region, as "China is watching."

Sullivan, who alongside Deputy Secretary of State Kurt Campbell is considered an architect of Biden's China strategy, acknowledged to HT that the Trump team faces an internal debate on China policy.
