PWD to Inspect City Buildings for Resilience to Disasters

The Public Works Department (PWD) will identify and inspect all of its critical infrastructure in the city, including schools, hospitals, fire stations and other buildings, for adherence to building bylaws to ensure that they are resilient against natural disasters.
NEW DELHI:
If norms are not followed, retrofitting measures will be adopted for seismic upgradation of these structures within three months, officials said.
