JAIPUR: Rajasthan governor Haribhau Bagade has challenged the popular historical account of a marriage between Mughal emperor Akbar and the princess of Amer, calling it untrue. He stated that there is no mention of such a union in Akbarnama, Akbar's official autobiography.
