Assam's opposition AIUDF MLA Aminul Islam was arrested on Thursday for allegedly making derogatory remarks and defending Pakistan over Pahalgam attack, police said.
GUWAHATI:
Islam, who represents the Dhing constituency in Nagaon, was arrested from his residence, a day after he made the controversial comments during a campaign rally for next month's panchayat polls in the state.
