ASI dies, 6 injured as car collides with Raj CM's escort vehicles

JAIPUR: An assistant sub-inspector died and six others were injured when a car collided with an escort vehicle of Rajasthan chief minister Bhajan Lal Sharma's convoy in Jagatpura area of the state's capital city Jaipur on Wednesday, police said.
Sharma was on his way to an event of Laghu Udyog Bharti from the Rising Rajasthan summit. "The CM's carcade was moving on the Jagatpura road when a car came from the wrong side and collided with an escort vehicle," SHO, Ramnagaria police station, Arun Kumar said, adding another vehicle in the carcade also was hit.
