KANPUR: A final-year B Tech student of the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Kanpur was found dead in his hostel room on Wednesday, with police suspecting it to be a case of suicide, making it the second such incident in the premier institution this year.

The 22-year-old student from Mahendragarh in Haryana was pursuing a degree in electrical engineering, police said, adding the body was found in a decomposing state on Wednesday.
