Yogi to Open 3-day Celebrations Today

Ayodhya is decked up for mega three-day celebrations to mark the first Pran Pratishtha (consecration) anniversary at Ram Temple in Ayodhya starting Saturday.
LUCKNOW:
Chief minister Yogi Adityanath will inaugurate the celebrations and perform the 'Abhishek' of Ram Lalla amid chanting of Vedic rituals.
On the opening day, renowned singer Usha Mangeshkar will perform 'Raag Seva' at Angad Tila on the Ram Janmabhoomi campus. Raag Seva is a classical tradition of offering musical compositions to the divine in various ragas.
Ram Lalla will wear a specially designed robe weaved from gold and silver threads. The Shri Ram Raag Seva will commence with a tribute to Bharat Ratna the late Lata Mangeshkar through a recorded presentation of her final composition-Shri Ram Stuti Shlok.
Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust is celebrating the first anniversary of Pran Pratishtha on Saturday according to the Hindu calendar. Prime Minister Narendra Modi was the chief guest at the Pran Pratishtha ceremony of Ram Lalla on January 22, 2024.
